Continuing in the spirit of our FAW project last month, Doron (the owner of RJ45 Networking Solutions) offered to match any donation the staff wanted to make to a charity of our choice.
We decided that we wanted to support the Uitsig Animal Rescue Centre in Joostenbergvlakte. They work closely with and support FAW and are collaborating with them on Project One by One to home all their adult cats (who are usually overlooked in favour of kittens).
With the help of their dedicated volunteers and through the generosity of a local photographer, they have created a catalogue of every adult cat at the Uitsig Cattery. They have launched their online cattery, especially for those who may find it too difficult and overwhelming to visit the cattery in person. Browse through the pictures and read each story until you spot one you'd like to meet. They've even been categorised by colour. All the cats will be listed on their Project One by One Facebook page or you can also find the catalogue on the FAW wesbite.
Every cat that they home has been sterilised, vaccinated and has tested negative for FIV/leukemia. The online cattery is a way for potential new owners to browse through the needy cats and make an enquiry without the need to visit the cattery. Uitsig are dedicated to completing the home check within 48 hours and within no time you will have a new member of the family!

benefitting; whether it is with a bag of food, a new bed, a litter
tray or litter, Uitsig have undertaken to make a change for the better on your behalf. How awesome!
